Services were scheduled 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9 at Traub Funeral Home. Rt 31, Bridgeport, for Margaret L. Newcomb 62. The Rev. Robert Overmier will officiate.
Mrs. Newcomb, Smith Ridge Rd., Bridgeport.,died July 5.
Born in Malone, Mrs. Newcomb resided most of her life in Bridgeport.
She had been involved with Girls Scouts for many years. serving as a troop leader.
She was a member of the Bridgeport Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip Newcomb: two sons, Phillip L Newcomb of Kentucky, Robert Newcomb of Bridgeport: three daughters, Shirley Burleigh of Bridgeport, Joyce Wright of Syracuse and Barbara Thesier of Virginia Beach, Va., a brother Donald Russell: two sisters, Shirley Harrer of Manlius and Wanda Turner of Arizona, 10 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Pine Plains Cemetery, North Manlius.
Contributions may be made to the Bridgeport Fire Depart., Ambulance Fund.
