Nicholas Wayne Ashworth, 22, of Ranger, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012 in Ranger. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Eastland.

Nicholas was born on February 16, 1990 in Breckenridge to Steve Wayne Ashworth and Kimmie Ann Booth. After high school, he served in the U.S. Marines for a time. He worked for an oil field well service.

Survivors include his parents, Steve and Kimmie Ashworth; 2 brothers, Lance Fox and Mac Ashworth; and 3 sisters, Robin Tice, Rocki Hughes and Amy Baker.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, 120 Wall Street, 29th Floor, New York, NY 10005
