Jessie J. Grissom, 90, retired farmer, died Thursday at his home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Unity Baptist Church near Jacks Creek with burial in the church cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington has charge. He was a member of the Jacks Creek United Methodist Church.
Mr. Grissom, the widower of Bertie Ora Brasher Grissom, leaves a daughter, Ms. Adrienne Lindsey of Jackson; a son, James Lavoughan Grissom of Jacks Creek; a sister, Ms. Estelle Blankenship of Huron; a brother, Evard Grissom of Lexington, 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
*He was preceded in death by a son, Carl Grissom.
