Age 86 years, died Saturday, August 7, 2010 in the Aleda E. Lutz V. A. Medical Center, Saginaw. He was born to the late Fredrick and Rose (St. Laurent) Morrisette on June 10, 1924 in Bay City. Bill was employed at Bay City Milling and the Bay City Fire Department for several years before his retirement. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, V.F.W., and a 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus Council #414. Bill served honorably in the U. S. Army Air Force.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters: Lawrence and John "Jack" Morrisette, Marie Martin, Rita Gunther, Beatrice "Peachy," Helen "Bunny," and Grace Morrisette; and his life-long companion, Jane Miller.

Cremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 4:00 PM in the W. A. Trahan Funeral Chapel. Rev. Robert S. Gohm will preside. Visiting hours will follow the service Thursday evening until 7:00 PM and at that time the Knights of Columbus will have their Bible and 4th Degree Chalice Presentation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Aleda E. Lutz V.A. Medical Center.
