SERVICES FOR MRS. BECKLEY HELD SUNDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. John Beckley were held Sunday afternoon at one o'clock from the Apostolic Christian church and were largely attended, many being present from out of town.

The services were conducted by the Rev. Joseph Klopfenstern, of Gridley, assisted by the Rev. Henry Kilgus of Forrest.

Interment was in Graceland cemetery.

Fredericka, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Armbruster, was born in Wurttemberg Germany, August 23, 1887 being at the time of her death aged 46 years 5 months and 16 days. She resided in her native country until she was 12 years of age, when the family came to America and located at Fairbury, which had since been her home. Her education was received in the Wurttemberg and Fairbury schools, and later she followed the occupation of dry goods saleswoman in this city.

On January 29, 1917, she was united in marriage to John Beckley, who survives, together with the following children: William C., Helen Alta, Nelson Warren, Charline Doris, Alden Wessley, Robert Kenneth, all at home. The following children of John Beckley by a former marriage also survive: John David, Lydia Lois, and Eunice Alta Beckley. The decendant's father, Andrew Armbruster, of this city, and brothers and sisters as follow survive: Andrew Armbruster, Jr., Fred Armbruster and Mrs. Dora Claus, of Milford, Ind.; Jacob Armbruster, of Cherokee, Okla; Mrs. Christina Meister, Mrs. Mary Steidinger, Mrs. Carrie Paternoster, Miss Barbara, Miss Anna and George Armbruster, all of Fairbury.

Mrs. Beckley was a member of the Apostolic Christian church. She was a kind wife and mother, unselfish and untiring in her devotion to those with whom she came in contact.

Among the relatives from away attending the funeral were: Miss Emma Beckley, of Peoria; Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Beckley, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Beckley, of Remington, Ind.; Mr. and Mrs. Emil Witzig, of Gridley; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kloter, of Rockville, Conn.; Miss Lois Beckley, of Chicago; David Beckley, of Cleveland, O.
