VINA, AL – I. J. Green, 48, Vina, died on Friday, March 5, 1993. He was born on Aug. 10, 1944, in Franklin County, the son of Lemuel O. Green and Vera Edell Baggett. He was an elementary school teacher. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 9, 1993, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home with burial in the Pilot Hill Cemetery in Vina. Survivors include his wife – Suzanne Green, Orange Park, Fla.; three children – Jeff Green, Darren Green, and Jason Green, all of Orange Park, Fla.; one granddaughter and one grandson; one sister – Virginia Austin, Arlington, Tex.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Hamilton Funeral Home directed the services.
