Robert O. Rigel, 76, of 821 N. Harrison St., Ludington, died early Saturday morning at his residence following an apparent heart attack. Robert O. Rigel was born Sept 27, 1914, in Sherman Township where he grew up and attended Mason County schools, graduating from Ludington High School. He was employed for many years as a taxi driver. Surviving are one granddaughter, Mrs. Lois Parker, Sarasota, Fla., and several cousins. Private family services for Mr. Rigel will be held later. Interment will be in Pere Marquette Cemetery. The Dorrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
