CALAIS - Eureta C. Daggett, 71, died August 31, 1997 at a Bangor Hospital. She was born August 28, 1926 in Danforth, Maine, the daughter of Frank Leo and Lila Jane "Eliza" (Weeks) Daggett.
A graduate of Danforth High School, class of 1943, she worked as a nurse's aide in the Calais area for several years.
Survivors include one brother, Alvin Daggett and his wife, Dorothy of Calais; one sister, Frances D. Beal and her husband, Paul Revere Beal; two nieces, three nephews, three aunts and several cousins.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no calling hours. A graveside funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Laurel Brown, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 6, at the Danforth Cemetery.
Donations may be made in her memory to the Building Fund of the United Methodist Church of Calais, Maine.
