Albina L. Bede of Clio, age 89, died Saturday, October 4, 2003 at Maplewoods Manor in Clio. Funeral services will be held 10am Friday October 10, 2003 at Saints Charles & Helena Catholic Church, 230 E. Vienna Rd., Clio. Rev. Fr. Gerald Ploof officiating with burial in Gracelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9am until time of service.

Albina was born January 26, 1914 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of the late Alphonse and Adouilda (Lemoine) DesJardins.

She had resided in the Clio area since 1947 coming from Flint. She was a member of Saints Charles & Helena Catholic Church.

Albina married Jonn Bede October 26,1935 in Flint. He preceded her in death March 14, 1999.

She enjoyed sewing, knitting, music and her family. She was also proud of her french heritage.

Surviving are: sons-Rene (Kathryn) Bede of Burton, Paul (Joyce) Bede of Kalamazoo; daughters-Constance (Eugene) Garnsey of Clio, Marie Williams of Clio; 12 grandchildren. 11 great grandchildren. Albina was also preceded in death by her granddaughter Cheryl in 1973, sister Fern Potter and brother Roland DesJardins.
