Juanita G. Hager, 99, of Gilbert died on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at the Appalachian Regional Hospital in South Williamson, Kentucky
She was born on Jan. 16, 1904, in Isaban, W.Va., a daughter of the late Henry and Ida West Radford. She was a retired public cook and a member of the Horsepen Southern Baptist Church at Sharon Heights, Hampden, W.Va.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband, William French Hager; two sons, Claude and Danny Hager; one granddaughter, Juanita "Cookie" Jones; five brothers, Herbert, Clarence, Howard, Charlie, and Norman Radford; and three sisters, Virginia Grubb, Christina Tompert and Henrietta Radford.
Mrs. Hager is survived by three sons, Lowell Thomas (Brenda) Hager of Jessup, Md., Jerry Grayson (Helen) Hager of Kettering, Ohio, and James Earnest Hager of Baltimore, Md.; five daughters, Sylvia (Earl) Hurley of South Williamson, Kentucky, Melvia Ann (Ersel) Jones of Covington, Va., Lorraine (Grant) Fuller of Justice, Romaine (Buster) Cook, of Laurel, Md., and Sharon (Jerry) Lester of Manessas, Va.; one sister, Myrtle Lowe of Gilbert; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Tues-day, Nov. 4, 2003, at the Mounts Funeral Chapel in Gilbert with the Revs. Frank Rowe and Shawn M. House officiating. Burial will follow in the Hatfield cemetery in Sharon Heights, Hampden.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
