Anthony B. Abram, 17, of Nesbit, MS, drowned Sunday, July 12, while swimming in a lake near his home.

He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Southaven. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves his mother and stepfather, Zola Mae and Myers Milam of Nesbit; his father, Rev. B.F. Abram of Southaven; three sisters, Ms. Barbara Abram of Southaven, Ms. Roslis Milam and Ms. Yvette Milam, both of Nesbit; two brothers, Ben F. Abram and A.D. Abram, both of Southaven; four step sisters, Mrs. Linda M. Moss, Mrs. Catherine Rayborn, Mrs. Janice Hampton and Mrs. Ms. Angelia Milam; two step brothers, Royal L. Milam and Trace Milam and his grandparents, Mrs. Annie Arnold and Elijah Arnold, all of Nesbit.
