Ex-Resident Dies
---George Crandall, 30, former Homer resident, died Friday morning in Fort Wayne, Ind., following an automobile accident.
---He was born in Clarendon township, August 5, 1926, the son of John and the late Alberta Sherman Crandall. He spent most of his life in this vicinity until he went to Ft. Wayne to work about two years ago.
---He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
---Surviving are his wife Gloria; two daughters, Vickie Jean and Lucinda; his father, John Crandall of Tekonsha; five sisters, Mrs. Margaret Blashfield, Mrs. Ila Blashfield, and Mrs. Mary Hollibaugh all of Tekonsha, Mrs. Betty Secter and Miss Katherine Crandall, both of Coldwater; three brothers, Ernest L. Crandall and Harry D. Crandall of Battle Creek and John L. Crandall of Homer.
---Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. from the Mains Funeral Home in Homer, with Dr. J. C. Shull of the First Presbyterian church officiating. Burial will be made in West Clarendon cemetery, with members of the VFW in charge.
