HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. — Mark Lee Stailey, age 55, of Hopkinsville, Ky., died Monday at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, Tenn.

A native of Oolitic,Indiana, he was born January 29, 1957, the son of Jerry Stailey and the late Wilma Louise (Hale) Stailey.

Mark attended school in Oolitic, Indiana and was a proud veteran of the USMC and was a member of the Marine Corp. League; he attended Crossroads Church in Cadiz, Ky., and was a retired Program Analyst after serving 36 years of service as a civil service employee in the 160th Special Operations.

Survivors include his wife, Lisha Flynn Stailey of Hopkinsville, Ky.; his father and stepmother, Jerry and Nancy Stailey of Bloomington: two sons, Joshua Caleb Stailey of Indianapolis and Jesse Lee Stailey of Hopkinsville, Ky.; one sister, Ronda Neely of Bedford; nephew, Matthew Cheek of Bedford; and niece, Bethany Cheek of Bedford.

Funeral service will be on Saturday at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Hopkinsville.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home in Hopkinsville.

Graveside rites will be at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday at Cresthaven Memory Gardens in Bedford,
with military rites by American Legion Gillen Post No. 33, Bedford.

Cresthaven Funeral Home & Memory Gardens is in charge of local arrangements.
