Mr. McRae was with the Milwaukee Road as switchman, flagman and in other capacities from 1901 until his retirement in 1938.
He was born in the province of Ontario, Canada and went to work for the Canadian railroad while in his teens. He was a member of the Eagles club.
Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Cassie Johnston, Milwaukee; Mrs. Ellen Reeves and Mrs. Greta Deamond, both of Vancouver, British Columbia and Mrs. Rebecca Massie, Christiana, British Columbia.
Cremation will follow the funeral services. The body will be at the Goodwin Funeral Home... after 3 p.m. Sunday.
