Nellie (Kemp) Appleton, 92, of Corinth, Alcorn Co., Mississippi, died Saturday, October 21, 1995.
She is the daughter of the late Aron Hill Kemp and Bettie (McCord) Kemp of Rienzi, Alcorn Co., Mississippi.
Mrs. Appleton retired after 45 years as an elementary educator in the Corinth and Byhalia, Mississippi area.
She was a member of The First Baptist Church and The Ruth Sunday School Class of Corinth, Mississippi.
Survivors include her husband, Homer B. Appleton; daughters, Bonita (Appleton) Sparrow of Fort Worth, Texas and Bettie Sue (Appleton) Kupatt of Port Lavaca, Texas; two grandchildren ; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Sunday, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at McPeters Funeral Home, Corinth, Mississippi.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, at McPeters Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Dennis Smith, officiating.
Burial will be in Hinkle Baptist Church Cemetery, Rienzi, Alcorn County, Mississippi.
McPeters Funeral Home, Corinth, Mississippi is in charge of the arrangements.
