Anna Grace and Jeanne Helene McWhood were twins. At birth they were both so frail the birth record has no given names. She was always known by her middle name Grace. While she grew to a healthy age of 85, she was advised after the birth of her son not to have any more children.
When her son was called to be a missionary in Zimbabwe, she also went and became the house mother to the girls boarding at Murewa Mission School.
