James Michael Barrett, 49, of Edgerton, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2005, at the Memorial Community Hospital after a long illness. He was born June 30, 1956, in Edgerton, the son of James B. and Maureen (Dillon) Barrett. Mike graduated from Edgerton High School. He then served in the Navy from 1975 to 1977. He worked 19 years for the City of Edgerton, and the past year for Schrock Trucking as a driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Maureen Barrett; his stepfather, Joseph Collins; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
