Haskell B. Thompson, 91, died Thursday, August 30, 2001, at Windsor Place in Coffeyville.
He was born December 12, 1909, in Thayer, the son of Joe and Ida Mae (Sutton) Thompson.
He lived with his parents on the farm. He worked for Koss Construction Company, building airport runways and highways. He became disabled in the early 1970s and has been a resident of Windsor Place since 1992.
His hobbies included fishing and hunting.
Survivors include a brother-in-law, Orval E. Peterson, Thayer, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and four sisters.
A private burial is today in the Thayer Cemetery.
Graves Funeral Home, Coffeyville, is in charge of arrangements.
