EXERCISES HELD


Five High School Students
Receive Diplomas -

Commencement address to high school and eighth grade graduates of the Herring schools was delivered last night by J. O. Tuton, of this city.

Five senior students to graduate were Roy and Clarence Fowler, Seth Stout, Miss Iva Dykes, and Miss Thelma Thomas. Several eighth grade students received diplomas presented by Lloyd S. Patterson, superintendent.

Valedictorian and salutatorian addresses were made and music selections were rendered by a trio of young women. The processional was led by the school faculty.

On 21 Aug 1933 Iva married first Leonard Carl Hall in Roger Mills County, Cheyenne, Oklahoma.
