Mrs. LOVETTA MARY MILLER, 84, of RFD 4, Hagerstown, and formerly of Locust Grove, died at the Washington County Hospital Monday morning, September 5. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Turner and by her second husband, Leonard M. Miller. She was born in Locust Grove on November 13, 1903, and was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary Smith Poffenberger.

She was a member of the Mount Zion Lutheran Church of Locust Grove.

She is survived by one daughter, Thelma Maught, Jefferson; three sons, Marvin R. Miller, Cearfoss; Harold Eugene Miller, Boonsboro; and Robert L. Miller, Cavetown; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Austin Poffenberger, Hagerstown.

Funeral services were held in the chapel of the Bast Funeral Home, Boonsboro; burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery, Locust Grove.
