CLARENCE T. SHELDON - Arrangements are complete for Clarence T. Sheldon, 75, R.R. 1, Tampico, who died Friday evening at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Grennan Funeral Home with the Rev. William McDonnell, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Sterling. Visitation will be held this evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial has been established in his memory.
Born on July 17, 1907, the son of John and Page Turner Sheldon, he married the former Mary Kennedy in Dixon on March 15, 1935. He was a member of the Sterling Gyro Club, Rock River Country Club, and the Sterling Elks.
Surviving are his wife, Mary; one son, John, Morristown, N.J.; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Mini) Long, Duluth, Minn.; one sister, Edith Doty, Prophetstown; and seven grandchildren. -- Contributed by Melva L.
