Services for Mark M. Baker, 66, of Decatur, who died Satur­day, September 16 at Logan Valley Manor in Lyons, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 19 at the Decatur Methodist Church with Rev. Marion Knoell officiating. Burial will be in the Decatur Cemetery.

Mark M. Baker was born June 28, 1923 in Decatur, Nebraska to Roy and Florence Murphy Baker. He attended school in Decatur, graduating from Decatur High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II from June, 1943 to November, 1945. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Bonnie Baker of Omaha; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Derald Ericksen of Kennard; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Lin­da Baker of Peru, Illinois, daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Don Brase of Columbus; son and daughter-in-law, Lewis and Beverly Baker of Omaha; son and daughter-in-law Randal and Susan Baker of Colfax, Iowa; son, Francis Baker of Peru, Il­linois, sister, Norma Lewis, Decatur, brother, John Baker of Decatur; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Saranne Baker, Decatur; brother-in-law, Orlo Teeters of Decatur and a host of nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Andersen, Jim Eagleton Larry Henning, Jack Maryott, Norman Rogers and Don Worley. Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
