Mrs. Alice Bailey, 71, died suddenly Wednesday at her home at Fortuna. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm. Friday at the Tipton Baptist Church, of which she was a member. The Rev. J. L. Freeman, Versailles and Robert B. Cappra, Tipton, will be in charge. Mrs. Bailey was born, Oct. 28, 1879, the daughter of Mr. C. W. and Anna Elizabeth Snorgrass. She was married Dec. 22, 1900 to Cecil Howard, now deceased, and later married John Bailey. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. M. H. Alkire, Gilliam, MO and Mrs. W. D. Turpin, Fortuna and one brother, Frank Snorgrass, Kansas City.
