MARIE ULYDIA ABELIN HALL

A funeral for Marie Ulydia Abelin Hall, a Milwaukie homemaker, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in River View Cemetery's Adams Chapel.

Mrs. Hall died Tuesday in her home from causes related to her age. She was 83.

She was born in Chicago on Sept. 7, 1909. She grew up on a farm in Circle, Mont.

In 1929, Mrs. Hall moved to Oregon. Her maiden name was Abelin. She married Charles William Hall in 1934. She lived in the Milwaukie area most of her adult life, but had lived in Hemet, Calif., for four years before returning to Oregon. Her husband died in 1982.

She is survived by a son, William Sr. of Portland; sisters, Annette Hunkins of King City, Verna Hughes of Camas, Wash., Lillian Smith of Oregon City and Ruth DeWitt of Springfield; brothers, Alfred Abelin of Bozeman, Mont., and Richard Abelin of Springfield; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in River View Cemetery.

The family suggests that remembrances be contributions to the American Heart Association.
