Clive Dee (C.D.) Rich, a resident of Elm Grove, passed away September 2, 2012 at the age of 85. He worked for the Bossier Parish School system as a teacher, coach, and principal. His last two positions, before he retired in 1983, were principal of Parkway High School and principal of Elm Grove Jr. High.
He is preceded in death by his wife Martha Thornton Rich, his grandson Micheal Patrick Rich, his brother Elton Rich, and his mother and father, John Dee and Bessie Inez Rich. He is survived by his sons Pat Rich and wife Sandy, Alan Rich and wife Kim, David Rich, daughter Elizabeth Strange and husband David, grandsons John Rich and wife Courtney, Zachary Rich, granddaughters Sydney Rich, Madison Rich, and great-grandchildren Whitney Rich-Stansell, Cayler Ann Rich, and John Beckam Rich.
There will be no public service or visitation per Mr. Rich's wishes. The family requests donations in his memory be made to The Colon Cancer Alliance www.ccalliance.org in memory of his grandson, Micheal Patrick Rich.
