Children of Hugh N. Pendleton, eldest son of Edmund 3rd:
I. Julia Nelson Pendleton, daughter of his first wife Lucy Nelson (who was the only child of Chancellor Nelson of Williamsburg) - was born 21st January 1830. In 1856 she was married to James W. Allen, Colonel of the 2nd regiment Virginia volunteers, Stonewall brigade, who was killed at the battle of Gaines's mill, near Richmond. She died 23rd day of July, 1865.
II. Dudley Digges Pendleton, eldest son of his second wife Elizabeth Frances Mann Digges, who was the only daughter of Dudley Digges of Louisa County, and grand-daughter of Dudley Digges of the King's Council, and of Governor John Page. Dudley was born on the 2nd day of March 1840. Was married on the 25th day of April 1866, to Helen M. daughter of Honorable Alexander R. Boteler of Jefferson County.
III. Robert Nelson Pendleton. Born 4th day of February 1843.
IV. Kenneth Murray Pendleton. Born 15th day of March 1845 - died 20th June 1846.
V. An infant born in 1848 lived only 24 hours.
VI. Kenneth Murray Pendleton - 2nd. Born 16th day of October 1852.
