Lorene Helton, 84, of Amarillo died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with Billy Nickel, pastor, and Art Lynch officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Helton was born May 7, 1920, in Post to Louis Franklin Barrow and Mary Ethel Barrow.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glynn Helton; her parents; and her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Donnie Helton and wife, Ronda, and Clyde Helton; a brother, Alton Barrow; two grandchildren, Brad Helton and wife, Jennifer, and Jennifer Trujillo and husband, Bobby; and seven great-grandchildren, Zach, Braden, Benjamin, Brendan, Jaden, Jazmin and Aliza.
The family suggests memorials be to Scottish Rite Hospital, 2222 Welborn St., Dallas, TX 75219, or call (214) 559-5000.
The body will be available for viewing from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. today at 6505 Fulton Drive.
