May 22, 1890 ~ October 31, 1974

Mrs. Emily Scott, 84, Wright City, died at 12:55 a.m. Thursday in the General hospital in De Queen, Ark.

Born May 22, 1890, in Burkesville, Ky., she had been a resident of McCurtain County for 41 years. She was a member of the Assembly of God church.

Surviving are four sons, John and Marshall of Anderson, Ind., Edgar of Sweet Home, Ore., and Imon of Wright City; three daughters, Dorothy Scott of Wright City, Opal Davis of Broken Bow and Ruby Veteto of Duncan; four sisters, Lena Rutledge of Mesquite, Tex., Bea Anderson of Tyler, Tex., Ora Self and Gladys Murphy. both of McKinney, Tex.; 21 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the First Assembly of God Church of Wright City, with the Rev. Odell Stuart, assisted by the Rev. Walter Spradling, officiating.

Arrangements and burial in the Moran cemetery are under the direction of Coffey-Ruiz Funeral Home.
