Emigrated to the United States with his wife and children in on the ship Oder which arrived in New York City from Bremen, Germany and Southampton, England on November 11, 1876. The passenger list includes the following family from Bohemia: Wenzl Dusatko, farmer, age 50 years; Barbara, 44; Josepha, 20; Anton, 16; Wenzl, 9; and Vincent, 5. Settled in Linwood precinct, Butler County, Nebr. where his widow and children are listed on the 1880 census.

According to his probate file his heirs in 1886 were his wife Barbara and six children Marie Vavrina, Josefie Hurt, John Dusatko, Antone Dusatko, James Dusatko, and Antonie Koskan.
