She was born on March 26, 1906, in Lomira, a daughter of Fred and Emma Oppliger. On Dec. 26, 1928, she married Joseph Pionkowski at Kekoskee. He died May 2, 1976.
Survivors include three sons, Victor of Oxford, Iowa, James of Horicon, and Dennis of Waldo; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Clemens of Mayville, and Linda Boeck of Milwaukee; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Monday at Moul Funeral Home in Mayville, with the Rev. Robert Lehrkant officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Mayville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Casket will be closed.
