According to the Death Certificate he died in either Silver Point (Putnam County) or Peel Chestnut (White County). Both towns are written as the location of death but the specified county on the certificate is DeKalb.

Died of Cerrhosis of the Liver

Spouse #2: Sarah Elizabeth Billings married on December 27, 1908 in DeKalb County, TN

Per the 1900 census, Brazela had one child but it was no longer living as of that time.

Mr. Bond, who was the informant for Williamson B. Shaw's death certificate, just got it all wrong. Williamson was listed in census records as 53 in 1900, 63 in 1910, and 73 in 1920. Mr. Bond gives Williamson's mother as Sarah (his father's third wife whom he married 8 july 1873). Williamson was born 1 apr 1846 to John Williamson Shaw and his first wife, Nancy Elizabeth WALKER (married 30 dec 1821 in Orange Co. NC). This Nancy died 29 apr 1846, soon after giving birth to Williamson. Then John Williamson Shaw married the 49-year-old Nancy VAUGHAN 16 nov 1847, dau of James Vaughan who died 1849 Caswell Co. with John Williamson Shaw administrator. It was this Nancy who was buried in the cemetery in DeKalb Co. Williamson's mother Nancy Elizabeth WALKER Shaw was buried at Union Ridge Church Cemetery in Alamance Co., NC.
