Born April 30, 1939 in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Hubert and Jenny (Elkins) Adkins.
Larry was a Veteran of the United States Army and was a retired Truck Driver for Richmond Mills.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (Halstead) Adkins; three sons, Chris Kessler, Jim Harris and Lee Harris; two grandchildren; four brothers, Robert, John, Bill and Collis Adkins and by two sisters, Mary Heath and JoAnn Byard.
Larry is survived by two sons, Carl Harris Jr. and Larry (Rhonda) Adkins Jr. all of Salineville; three daughters, Sharon (Lester) Harris of Salineville, Luella (Jim) Miller of Missouri and Brenda (Bryan) Rose of Salineville; twenty six grandchildren and thirty one great-grandchildren and also by a sister, Margaret Bellville of Newell.
Burial will follow at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens, Newell, W.Va.
