Mrs. Gussie McKinsey
dies, rites set Monday

Mrs. Gussie Emille McKinsey, Rt. 2, Sayre died suddenly at her home Friday. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Lynn Heard and Rev. John Kelly.

Born August 28, 1900 at Bryan, Texa., Mrs. McKinsey moved with her parents wneh(sic) a child to Tecumseh and in 1911 to Sayre. She married Arthue Lee (Dock)(sic) McKinsey at Sayre March 24, 1918. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband of the home; 2 sons, Raymond and Ernest both of Sayre; 1 brother, Henry Tyarks of Sayre; 4 sisters, Mrs. Lucinda Moore of Eldorado Springs, Mo. Mrs. Minnie Stroud of Sayre, Mrs. Carolina Swanner of Woodward; Mrs. Lenora McKennon of Amarillo, Tex., 6 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

Interment will be in the Sayre-Doxey cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral service.
