Mrs. Quick was born on July 21, 1907, in Erect in Randolph County to Annie Lee Lawrence Beck and James Brock "Bud" Beck. Mrs. Quick was raised in Randolph County and in Robbins (then Hemp) and graduated from Elise Academy, a private high school in Hemp. She married Raymond Thomas Quick in 1948.
Mrs. Quick was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Raymond Thomas Quick; her brothers, Walter Lyndon Beck and John Lewis Beck; and her sisters, Bonnie B. Liebeck and Billie Gay Kater.
Mrs. Quick is survived by her sister, Lois B. Tate, of Greensboro, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted Sunday, May 1, 2005, at 3:30 p.m. at Alamance Memorial Park by the Rev. Randy Carter.
