Grand Junction, Colo. - Gayle A. Gimple, 92, died Sept. 18, 1999, at St. Mary's Hospital and Medical Center, Grand Junction.

She was born Dec. 6, 1906, at Turon, the daughter of Frank Seward and Ollie Allison. Her childhood was spent in Turon and Ellinwood and she was a graduate of Lewis High School. She had lived in Liberal, Des Moines, St. Louis, Boulder, Colo., and Troy, Ill. She was a housewife.

She was a member of First Congregational Church of Christ, Grand Junction.

On Feb. 19, 1929, she married David C. Gimple at Hutchinson. He died Feb. 8, 1994.

Survivors include; a son, Gordon Clayton "Bud" Gimple, Grand Junction; a daughter, Gwendolyn Gimple, San Rafael, Calif.; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.

Memorial services will be at Mesa View Retirement Center, Grand Junction. Kansas services will be announced by Kimple Funeral Home, Ellinwood.

Burial will be in Lakin-Comanche District Cemetery, Ellinwood.
