HAMPTON, S.C. - Mrs. Susie Hay Ackerman-Singletary, 57, died June 15 at Allendale County Hospital.
She was born in Hampton County. She was a member of Cherry Grove Christian Church in Brunson and served in the Pastor's Aide Society and the church choir.
SURVIVORS: three sons, Sgt. Frankie L. Hay of Clinton, Sammy Singletary Jr. of Hampton and Willie Junior of Columbia; a stepdaughter, Dianne Jordan of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two stepsons, Garner Ackerman of Smoak and Michael Ackerman of Brooklyn; two sisters, Albertha Singletary and Fannie Hay, both of Hampton; and nine grandchildren.
VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at Washington's Funeral Home in Hampton.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Friday at Cherry Grove Christian Church, burial in Cherry Grove Christian Church Cemetery.
