Note : His son George, born about 1856 by wife Harriet, and his son William, born about 1864 by wife Sarah, appear to be the only children not buried in this plot.
A quick look at records on Ancestry gives us :
1833 - 12 Mar 1833 - Mass Town Records of Newbury list his birth as George Edward Currier, parents : William and Elizabeth C Currier.
1840 - living in Newbury Mass with his parents, best match (there are 3 different William Currier families living in Newbury at this time but only 1 with a male George's age) - with 13 people living in the household and various ages, it is hard for me to tell who is a parent and who is a sibling. Enumerated are : 1 male 50-59, 1 female 40-49, 1 male 30-39, 2 males 20-29, 1 female 20-29, 2 males 5-9 (one would be George at age 7), 1 female 10-14, 4 females 15-19.
1850 - living in Newbury Mass with his mother Elizabeth who is 55 (I assume his father William passed away between 1840 and 1850). Sibling : Charles K Currier, age 19, ship carpenter. Also listed : William Bisbee age 40 a master mariner, his wife Mary A Bisbee age 29 (possibly a sister to George), and their daughter Wealthy age 10. In addition : William Merritt age 29 a carpenter, his wife Lavinia age 27 (possibly a sister to George), and their son Willis G age 2.
