Corban Zane Parker Lyon flew from his earthly home to be face to face with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, September 9, 2012. Corban was born September 6, 2010 in Tulsa and lived in Sapulpa.

Corban impacted many souls during his little life because of his loving and sweet personality. One could fall in love with him after spending only 15 minutes in his presence because of his capacity to love. He spread joy to everyone with his precious hugs and his infectious smile.

He loved to play outside and loved animals, especially dogs. He was also thrilled to hold the baby goats at the family farm; possibly explaining why "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" was his favorite song to sing, although belting out "E-I-E-I-O" seemed to be the most exciting part for Corban.

His favorite colors were orange and blue and his favorite toys were his trains... or any toy that his big sister, Keeley, was playing with at the time. Peek-A-Boo was his favorite game; and when he curled those little fingers in front of his blue eyes, he truly believed he was invisible to everyone in the room.

Corban was only two, but he understood the reality of Heaven. He understood God made him and loved him. He knew believing in Jesus was the way to God; and that he would live in Heaven someday with his friends and family who went on before him. We have great comfort in knowing that this is true; and that Corban is alive in Heaven right now and will greet each of us at our arrival with one of his awesome "Corban hugs."

Even in death, Corban will continue to be a blessing by providing the gift of life to others through organ donation.

Survivors are his parents; his brothers; his sisters; his grandparents; and his great-grandmother; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
