Roman Catholic priest. He was ordained priest for the Archdiocese of La Plata on December 21, 1942. From 1942 to 1944 he taught at the Minor Seminary "Nuestra Señora de Luján", of the Archdiocese of La Plata. From 1943 to 1985 he was Prefect of Studies and professor of the Major Seminary "San José". In 1958 began as nominated professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA), and was also a professor of the Faculties of Social and Economic Sciences. From 1968 to 1980 he was vice-rector of UCA and from 1980 to 1994 he was rector. In 1964, Pope Paul VI awarded him the title of Prelate of Honor, so was treated as "Monsignor". Since his retirement, he served as rector emeritus of the UCA.
