Mrs. Rose was the daughter of James B. and Catherine C. (North)Nuzum. She married Lawrence J. Rose July 10, 1932 and he died Jan. 7, 1977. She was an elementary school teacher for 32 years; retiring in 1973. She was a graduate of Ball State University, Muncie, and Elwood High School. She belonged to Sigma Delta Pi, Tipton Retired Teachers Association, Indianapolis Symphony, and other groups. She was survived by a son, four grandchildren, and
