Mildred was born March 19, 1915, in Canonsburg, Pa., to the late J. Adam and Margaret Diehl Angerer. Mildred was a member of the Philo United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday school and Bible school teacher and was a member of the choir, the WSCS and the Builders Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly J. Coen of Rocky River; sons, Glenn R. Coen of Rosebud, Mo., Clarence E. (Sally) Coen of Zanesville, Harley Vern (Ellen) Coen of Blue Rock, Lee (Sherry) Jones of Canonsburg, Pa., Thomas W. (Danette) Coen of Philo and Dave (Pam) Coen of Zanesville; sisters, Anna M Brautigam of Hickory, Pa., Edna M Brautigam of Panama, N.Y. and Dorothy M. Hurl of Clairton, Pa.; 38 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-granchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceeded in death by her husbands, Norman Jones and Okey C. Coen, who passed July 10, 1980; four sons, Allen O. Coen, Edward A. Coen, Shirl E. Coen and Arthur Leroy Coen; two sisters, Catherine E. Buchanan and Hazel L. Angerer; two grandchildren, Steven E. Coen and Arthur "Bud" Coen; and a god son, Rodney Taylor.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today, Oct. 5, at Thompson-Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at the funeral home. The Rev Alice Baldwin will officiate. Burial will be in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, at Rocky River United Methodist Church, 19414 Detroit Road in Rocky River.
