Roberta Arline Davis, 86, passed away at home Aug. 23, 2012. Mom was born in Liberty, Mo., on July 6, 1926. Mom is survived by two daughters, Donna L. Henslee and Mary F. Taylor of KCMO, son, Aubrey L. Simmons of KCK, and numerous grandkids, great grandkids and great-great grandkids. Mom was preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Davis; son, Maxie E. Simmons, daughter, Carole A. Alexander, four grandkids and her parents, Thomas and Marquerite Spriggs. Mom worked in the garment industry for 30 years at Brand & Puritz as a machine operator. Mom will be loved and missed by all. She will be forever in our hearts. Memorial service and burial at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Armour Chapel in Elmwood Cemetery, 4900 E. Truman Rd., KCMO.
