Mrs. Koffarnus Of Hilbert Passes Away On Tuesday

Chilton - (Special) - Mrs. Koffarnus, 74, died at her home in Hilbert Tuesday at 2:15 p.m. after a lingering illness.
Nee Louisa Rathel, she was born May 15, 1866, i Manitowoc county, daughter of George and Henrietta Rathel. She married Henry Koffarnus Jan. 18, 1893, at Hilbert.
After their marriage, they lived in the town of Chilton until 1926, when they moved to Hilbert. Survivors are her husband, one son, Edward, town Chilton, a brother in Long Beach Cal., and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 at the Eldridge Funeral home, Hilbert, and at 2 o'clock at St. Peter's Lutheran church, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. R. E. Heschke will officiate.
Mrs. Koffarnus was a charter member of the Ladies Aid of St. Peter's church.
