Mrs. Ackerman was born Aug. 10, 1886 at Edwardsville, a daughter of the late Henry and Philipena Schmidt Harmening.
She was married to Anton Ackerman Dec. 31, 1911 at Belleville. Her husband preceded her in death Jan. 12, 1963.
Mrs. Ackerman is survived by sons, William Ackerman of Media, PA., Carl Ackerman of Olympia, WA., Glen Ackerman of Edwardsville, a daughter, Mrs. L. D. (Eva) Theuer of Grand Junction, CO., six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 6 brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Ackerman was a member of World War I Barracks 977 Auxiliary.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today in the Weber Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Allan Dempsey, pastor of Eden United Church of Christ, officiating.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
