Kramerich, Aloysius L. "Banj" "Al" Age 95. At rest Monday, May 2, 2011 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet to the late Anton and Barbara (nee Milcinovic) Kramaric, he was a life long resident. Attended Joliet Township High School. A WWII U.S. Army veteran, serving with the Military Police, and had the distinguished honor to assist carrying the casket of President Roosevelt to the train in Georgia destined for Washington, D.C. Retired from Caterpillar, Inc. in Aurora, in 1980 following 20 years of service. Member of the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for many years. An avid woodworker, he loved fishing in Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota, and enjoyed spending time with the family and was affectionately known as the "Family Handyman". Survived by his two children, Barbara A. (John) Peceniak of Shorewood, and Richard (Maurine) Kramerich of Pensacola, FL; one granddaughter, Kerri (Tim) Ciesla of Shorewood; three great-grandchildren, Casey, Caeley, and Caitlyn Ciesla; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife, Anne (nee Bauer) Kramerich (2000); parents; siblings, Joseph, Anthony, Adolph, John, Francis, Ann Skorupa, Helen Gasparic, and three sisters in childhood. Funeral Services for Aloysius Kramerich will be Friday, May 6, 2011 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
