Death of Ernest Blair
Ernest Francis Blair, youngest son of Frank Thompson and Rose (Barnes) Blair, was born in Fulton County, Ohio, on February 26th 1877, and died in New York City, on April 29th 1914, aged 37 years, 1 month and 16 days. The earlier part of his life was spent in and around Wauseon; he attended the public and Normal Schools here until 1894, when he went to Denison University, at Granville, Ohio.
In 1898 he went to New York City, where he became associated with the hay firm of FW Williams & Co, with which firm he remained, practically the rest of his life. On December 28th 1905, he was united in marriage with Elizabeth K Calkins of New York City. To this union were born three children, one of whom died in infancy. He is survived by his wife and two children, Ernest F, aged 4 years and Kathryn, aged 7, and his only brother Eddy S Blair.
The body was placed in a receiving vault in New York, and later will be brought here for interment.
