Ryan James Montierth, 22, passed away at his Nampa home on September 11, 2012.

He was born to Ray and Susan Lundeen Montierth on June 10, 1990 in Boise, Idaho. Ryan graduated from Nampa High School in 2008 and later attended BYU-Idaho. He was a sophomore in college.

Ryan loved sports, including baseball and football, and enjoyed outdoor activities, such as fishing and hunting. He also loved scouting and was an Eagle Scout. Ryan was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and appreciated his leaders and the friendships he made in his church activities. Ryan had many wonderful friends and will be remembered for his gentle manner and kindness to others.

Ryan loved his Mother and Father, his dearly beloved younger brother, Michael, sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Payden Phillips, of Logan Utah, and younger sisters Chelsea and Krista Montierth of Nampa. Other relatives include his Grandfather, Herbert Montierth, of Boise, and Grandmother, Darlene Montierth (deceased), Grandmother, Virginia Hawkaluk and Grandfather, Neal Melton. He has many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends that are dear to him.

Friends and family are welcome to attend his funeral, to be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 17th at the Nampa 7th Ward LDS Chapel, 3007 Sunnyridge Road, Nampa. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, September 16th a Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd, Nampa and at the church from 1-1:45 p.m. Monday, prior to the services. Graveside services will be held at the Kuna Cemetery.
