He was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, a retired farmer, and also a member of Masonic Lodge #51.
Proceeding in death are his parents, daughters Shirley Wyatt and Margaret Virginia Shipman, and grandson Richard Leon Goacher.
He is survived by his wife Zada Linn; daughters Mary Linn of Carlisle and Jennette Wilkins of Glendale, Arizona; four grandsons Brian and Greg Wyatt of Carlisle, Allen Goacher of North Little Rock and Tyler Wilkins of Glendale, Arizona; eight great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, September 16 at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 17 at the Funeral Home with Interment in Hamilton Cemetery.
