Rochester D&C, Sat., Jan. 14, 1961, page 21:
VICTOR—Richard Barry. 84, of 54 Church St., died yesterday (Jan. 13. 1961) at Thompson Memorial Hospital in Canandaigua, following a long illness. He was born Sept. 11, 1876, in East Bloomfield, a son of the late Johanna Mahoney and Michael Barry. He was a well known meat cutter for more than 30 years here, working in a number of retail establishments. He retired about three years ago. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Patrick's Church and was married to the late Nancy Wilkinson. Surviving are two sons, Clifford of Victor and Howard of New Jersey; three daughters, Dorothy Barry and Margaret Barry, both of Victor and Mrs. Helen O'Neil of Rochester: a sister, Mrs. Anastasia Spalding of Rochester; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Funeral Home of Victor J. Tischer, Victor, where a service will be held Monday at 9 a.m. Another service will be held at St Patrick's Church at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Bridget's Cemetery, East Bloomfield.
