Marilynn B. Rutledge, 51, of Route 1, Chanute died August 24, 1991 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas following an illness of one week. She was born November 3, 1939 at Petrolia to Ted and Lillian Newman Masters. She grew up and attended school in the area graduating from Chanute High School. She had worked in nursing homes and the Parsons State Hospital and Training Center before becoming disabled. She married Howard Rutledge on January 19, 1961 at Chanute. He survives of the home.
